Top 25 Hip Hop Albums Of 2019

An excellent varied year for Hip Hop. I think my favorite thing about Hip Hop this year is that Trap got weird. Where it was once(and still is with a lot of artists) extremely formulaic this year saw quite a few standouts willing to bend and tweak the formula to fit in with their artistic whims. We are all the better for it! In terms of other Hip Hop genres being represented this year, they all put out about the same level of creativity as they have in the past which is a good thing!
