Samplededlica-The Best Sample Based Albums Of All Time
Plunderphonics can be a really tricky genre. There are a lot
of different viewpoints on what constitutes a plunderphonic record. Some people
feel the samples have to be blatantly obvious while others feel that obscured
samples really hit it home with the genre. A lot of people blur the lines
between mashups and plunderphonic sample based records. Personally, I feel,
they are one in the same. Below are some of the best examples of the genre.
Some are closer to mashup(Girl Talk), some are closer to sample obstruction(Andrew
Peklar), some are blatantly obvious in their use of samples(Neil Cicierega) and
some created a near perfect blend of the two(The Avalanches). So dig in and
