We are excited and proud to bring you insight into our 8th favorite album of 2019 Xiu Xiu's Girl With Basket Of Fruit! We reached out and Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu was nice enough to grant us some insight into this incredibly brutal and honest work of art. This album was insanely creative and really blew the doors off the idea I had of Xiu Xiu up to that point. It was impressive in every sense of the word and we are very excited to see what comes next.

recording the haitian drummers and getting to listen to the play in person

going through my meager collection of art and photography books
Do you have any advice you would like to impart on other musicians or up and coming musicians?
dont give up
make music with the intent of touching a listener

that is not up to me. i want them to get what is true and individual for them
